Ow how I wish it was simpler..that we can all be in jest, whistling as we discuss about it. Who wants to be serious about such stuff? Nobody! But my brother, I have witnessed too many Christians whom I love, who had great potentials in Christ, fall flat on their faces and are not able to stand up, just because they let one seemingly harmless wishful thinking turn into a reality. The devil watches so it might destroy, so once you open that door, the devil comes and takes the opportunity by the horn. It’s heartbreaking. It used to be we can tease each other about this stuff, but no more. Some of us experimented, thinking we can handle it and know our limitations when the situation asks for it, but that didnt turn out to be true. So be careful even about your thoughtlife on this matter.

about being a freak..
what i learned..when we took up our cross to follow Christ, we took up persecution with it..because when we decided to be consecrated for Christ, it entailed going against the flow of this wicked culture. there will be many other areas in your life where you will have to decide which side to stand on, regardless of being called a freak, and your lovelife is one of the good places to start. So if in your lovelife you can grasp this concept of adhering to the standards of the bible, hence being different from the rest, then this will be the most natural thing to apply to the other areas of your life. So get a thick skin on..and for your contacts who look up to you, shine bright!
