I see the topic as serious because we see the concept of "crush" as a whimsy, a mere flight of fancy. I initiated this thread to see a crush in the light of our being Christian and all...

Yes, the concept of "crush" is always proliferated because of its "kilig" factor. However, I want to ask people if a crush is really needed when Our Lord himself will provide us with a mate more than suitable for us...

since bogs is too keen on being serious about this...
i ges it goes back to the definition of "kras".. cliche as it may sound, crush in general is just an admiration..of a quality, character, physical appearance, or even an opinion or status quo of a person. for the most part, it cannot be helped, because, well, certain characteristics are just plain admirable!just be careful that the admiration does not go beyond what it is, that it does not stumble other believers, and that you are not displeasing God with it; "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matt 5:28 ). Finally, what you hopefully admire are more of a character or trait and less of a physical trait, and if it is a Christ-like virtue, then you might even use that to imitate that person as he/she imitates Christ!
