| Natawa lang ako sa definition ni Chris Rock sa "Everybody Hates Chris" Crush - something that makes you crushed... The fact is, and I will reiterate this, that this thread is quite serious. Could we start with a definition of crush? Now I cannot see the word crush being defined as admiration. Why? Because there's always that silly connotation as something else...deeper. Ergo, let us not define crush as plain jane admiration. Being in love (and I am in Love with my Saviour!), would be too strong to define such a petty term. Ergo, having a crush is not being in love. Let us define crush as something of an infatuation. In between falling in love and admiration. You would have other definitions, I respect that. But me defining crush as infatuation has implications of its own. Remember that the rootword for infatuation is fatuous - foolish. Crushes are foolish, and by the looks of Chris Rock's definition - if we delve too deep in it we get crushed... But I don't see it is as attraction (which is quite healthy, guys dig gals and vice versa). Rather it is much worse... Then again I could be wrong... or right... either way, I hope that this would set the mood for this thread... PS: I like girls... There I admitted it... But as to a particular damsel...well I'll keep you guessing (and I'll guess as well)

| agree ako na ang konsepto natin sa "kras" ay something deeper than admiration and shallower than love. hehehe. dati lagi akong may kras. hehe. tapos napansin ko every after two years nagpapalit ako ng kras. haha. pero walang naidudulot na mabuti (in my opinion) ang pagkakaron ng kras, dahil lagi na lang nagkakaproblema ang mundo ko pag may kras ako. haha! kaya ngayon by god's grace ay wala na akong kras, and i feel good, even better, without having one... focus na lang muna tayo (yung mga bata pa) kay God! _________________  |
