gusto ko lang alamin ang mabuti at di mabuting dulot ng mga blog sites... i mean personal blog sites ha

gusto ko lang din alamin kung bakit ito nauso... sa palagay nyo? nauso ba ito dahil sa karamihan sa mga kabataan ngayon ay mas malalim mag isip? o mas nauso sya ngayon ONLINE dahil sa halip na isulat sa DEAR DIARY ay i-t-type na lang???

cguro ate, pra sken u can share ur experiences dito. minsan pag wlang makausap eto mgandang place para ilabas gustong sabhin kaya lng un ay kung handa kang mabasa ito ng iba. =D

advantages of blogs: quicker to type; saves papers (thus saving trees); can say your darkest secrets even without people knowing your real name (hiding behind facades of pen names); no need to write tawdry 'dear diary' lines (if you find 'dear diary' lines a bit girlish-ly); you can get creative as you want - even without knowing how to draw; can apply what you learned from html; if you write well and fortunately has an inflatable ego, you can prove to the whole internet world how good of a writer you are; no need to burn entries if it's really that personal (saving the depleting ozone layer) - simple as delete can do the trick; you can get quoted in school essay homeworks (get real. it's online, you might even get googled!); people spend most of their time in front of computers; if your life is really that interesting, you might find your entries in a bookstore - published!; guys won't get embarrassed with journal writing - or typing - anymore (this is only for guys who do get embarrassed ); and, your grammar doesn't need to be that good when you publish entries.

disadvantages: no privacy (if you're really a privacy-smitten person who has no trust in pen names); people will be updated with every bit of juicy (and boring) detail of your life (anyone could be a paparazzi these days - care to share your blog sites to me, anyone?) ; what happened to the line 'for my eyes only'?;perverts know their way around blog sites (jusT imagine what they'd do it they read your blog and get interested *shudder*) ; years of your parents' hardwork for teaching you how to write ABC will be gone to waste (at least it's only useless for journal writing); your speliing - oops, spelling - gets worse as texting; and, too much time in front of the pc can ruin your eyes (my eyes! - i got nothing more).

actually, blog an be a source of gossip di ba? pero nasa tao na rin yun kung paano dadalhin. wat i mean is, kung ayaw mong pag-usapan ka, wag mong i-post di ba? no wonder may mga brethren na nagtatago na ng mga blog addresses nila heheh (oopsss!!! joke lng po)

at saka pwede namang gumamit ng codes, gaya ni papu na madalas gumamit ng mga codenames

i like the concept of a blog. however, people are caught up in the inherent hype of the thing. sometimes it seems quiet suspect of just being another fad, you know like bellbottoms and bad haircuts. sorry for sounding like a luddite, but if you want to air personal thoughts and opinions shouldn't people at least try a journal or diary...?
